AFIP Certification Program Testing
You must pass each of the three test modules with a score of 80 percent or greater and submit all required documents and information to become AFIP Certified.
If you fail any portion of the AFIP Certification Course, you will be given one more opportunity to pass (additional fees apply). You only have to retake the portion of the test you failed, but you must wait at least two weeks before retaking the exam (no exceptions).
Scheduling a Test – PSI Testing Centers
To schedule your testing date, go to www.lasergrade.com to locate the PSI (formerly LaserGrade) testing facility nearest your home or work. Call 800.211.2754 to schedule your session. You will be asked to bring photo identification and provide personal information to verify your identity.
Your first testing session comes with your paid AFIP Certification Course materials. If you must retake any portion of the exam, you will be required to pay the PSI sitting fee of $55 (this fee is assessed by PSI, and is subject to change without notification).
Standard AFIP Testing Process
Each candidate will be required to provide information on their status with regard to state licensing and the shipping address to which AFIP will ship recognition materials. They must also verify that they will follow of the AFIP Code of Ethics.
Before the test begins, a tutorial will be available that shows the candidate how to use the online testing system. Candidates may answer the questions in any order, skipping and returning to questions as necessary.
Candidates will have two hours to complete all three modules.
